In memory of Professor Oleg Shabliy

Abstract

The Ternopil branch of the Ukrainian Geographical Society and the Editorial Board of the journal "Regional Aspects of  Productive Forces Development of Ukraine" deeply regret that on January 14, 2023, a well-known scientist, educator, Vice-President, Honorary Member of the Geographical Society, Head of the Department of Economic and Social Geography of Ivan Franko Lviv National University, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine, Academician of the Academy of Higher Education, Honorary Member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society and Chairman of his Geographical Commission of the Shevchenko Scientific Society, laureate of the Ivan Franko International Prize Oleg Ivanovych Shabliy passed away.
