Submission of materials

SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS

Submission of manuscripts to the scientific journal Regional Aspects of Productive Forces Development of Ukraine is carried out through the electronic editorial system Open Journal Systems (OJS).

To submit a manuscript and track its status, authors must register on the journal website and log in to their personal account.

All communication with authors is conducted in written form through the OJS platform or via the official editorial e-mail address.

Manuscript Submission and Review Procedure

The manuscript review process includes the following stages:

  • submission of the manuscript by the author through the OJS platform;

  • acknowledgement of receipt by the editorial office;

  • initial editorial screening;

  • notification of the author regarding the results of the initial screening;

  • peer review (double-blind review);

  • notification of the author regarding the review results;

  • editorial decision on publication;

  • notification of acceptance for publication and provision of payment details.

The average manuscript review period is 4–8 weeks.

Initial Screening

Only manuscripts that meet the following requirements are accepted for peer review:

  • compliance with the journal’s scope and subject areas;

  • conformity with the established formatting requirements;

  • absence of indications of academic misconduct.

At this stage, the editorial office conducts:

  • verification of manuscript structure and formatting;

  • plagiarism screening;

  • verification of compliance with the journal’s policy on the use of artificial intelligence technologies.

If deficiencies are identified, the manuscript may be returned to the author for revision or rejected.

Peer Review

Manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review in accordance with the journal’s editorial policy.

Based on the review results, a manuscript may be:

  • accepted for publication;

  • accepted subject to revisions;

  • rejected.

The final decision is made by the Editorial Board.

Requirements for Submitted Manuscripts

Submitted manuscripts must meet the following conditions:

  • the manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal;

  • the text complies with the journal’s structure and formatting requirements;

  • all borrowed materials and citations are properly acknowledged;

  • the cited sources are reliable and relevant to the research topic;

  • the work complies with the principles of academic integrity.

Submission Package

The following materials must be submitted to the editorial office:

  • electronic version of the manuscript;

  • author information;

  • abstracts in Ukrainian and English.

The Editorial Board may additionally request other materials or explanations necessary for the evaluation of the manuscript.

Proof of payment shall be submitted only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.

Grounds for Rejection

A manuscript may be rejected in the event of:

  • violation of academic integrity principles;

  • lack of scientific novelty;

  • inconsistency with the journal’s scope;

  • insufficient scientific quality;

  • lack of adequate methodological justification;

  • unsupported or contradictory conclusions;

  • non-compliance with the standards of scholarly writing.

Additional Provisions

Submitted materials are considered only if the complete set of required documents has been provided.

Authors bear responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted information and for compliance with ethical standards.

The names and e-mail addresses provided by authors are used exclusively for editorial purposes and are not disclosed to third parties in accordance with the journal’s privacy policy.
