Abstract

Introduction. The article examines the problem of restoring socio-economic activity in Ukraine under full-scale war conditions, which has led to the destruction of traditional logistics chains and increased the role of logistics as a key element of national security. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to develop new approaches to international logistics processes considering security challenges and global transformations.

Methods. The methodological framework includes system analysis, comparative analysis, SWOT analysis, and economic-statistical methods. The study is based on data from international organizations (World Bank, OECD), the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, and scientific publications indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. The theoretical basis includes international logistics theory, the concept of economic security, and resilient supply chain theory.

Results and discussion. The study reveals that the transformation of international logistics is characterized by a shift of transport routes towards the EU, the growing importance of the Danube region, and the development of “solidarity corridors.” Logistics is proven to be a key factor in export recovery, regional economic development, and business activity. It is substantiated that logistics has become a strategic component of national security by ensuring the functioning of critical infrastructure, energy, and food security. The scientific novelty lies in integrating logistics transformations into the economic security paradigm and substantiating strategic recovery imperatives.

Conclusions. The key challenges of socio-economic recovery are systematized, and strategic imperatives are identified, including adaptability, resilience, and integration into global logistics systems. Their implementation forms the basis for sustainable economic development and strengthening national security.
